What Do These Statistics Mean?

Site Visits - A count of the visits during the reporting period. Example: A single individual who visited our sites 3 times would be counted as 3 visits.

Unique Visitors - A count of visitors who visited once during the reporting period. Example: If a single individual visited our sites 3 times during a reporting period, it would only be counted as 1 unique visitor.

Page Views (Impressions) - The total number of pages viewed during the reporting period. Example: If a single visitor looked at 10 individual pages on our sites, that would represent 10 page views.

Banner Views (Impressions)  - The total number of times each advertisers banner was viewed during the reporting period. There are a maximum of 30 banners in the rotation. Banners are displayed randomly on all banner pages.

Successful Hits For Entire Site - A count of all successful hits including HTML pages, pictures, forms, scripts, and downloaded files. Example. A visit to a single page with 10 images would count as 11 hits.  Although many advertising sites include these statistics (especially if they have lots of graphics), we feel this is a meaningless measure of site traffic. Suffice it to say that our "hit statistics" are significantly higher than our page views.
